2001 Cumbre Awards

The Cumbre Award recognizes excellence in public relations throughout New Mexico.  The competition is tough.  Give your entry the best chance of winning by attending “Entering To Win: A Cumbre Awards Primer.” 

The presentation is part of the monthly Public Relations Society of America New Mexico Chapter meeting at the Sheraton Uptown Hotel on Thursday, February 22.  A panel of experienced PR practitioners, including Sam Giammo, APR, Chad Perry, APR and Susan Wilson of the Garrity Group, will offer practical tips for entering the Cumbre Awards.  All of the presenters are Cumbre Award winners or past judges of the PR competition.  The deadline to enter work in the prestigious 2001 Cumbre Awards sponsored by NMPRSA is March 15, 2001.

The NMPRSA meeting and luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m. at the Sheraton Uptown Hotel located at 2600 Louisiana Blvd. NE.  Cost is $17 for members, $25 for non-members and $12 for students.  RSVP before noon on Monday, February 19 by contacting Sam Giammo at 505-272-3682 or .
